The middle school placement review process enables the school staff and parents to work together to provide students with the most appropriate educational placement. A placement review may be conducted for students entering grades six through eight who demonstrate outstanding academic performance but who were not eligible for one or more G/T content area class(es) based on the initial testing criteria. To request a placement review, parents/guardians should write a letter/email to Ms. Singleton, the G/T Resource Teacher, requesting a review of the student’s placement(s) for middle school.
