● Teacher Recommendations were entered in Synergy back in December 2021.
Course Registration - December 20th- January 18th
● In December, students were presented with the High School scheduling information in math classes. Students and parents have access to all scheduling information listed in the High School Scheduling Folder. You can view the HCPSS videos, they contain information about graduation requirements, career academies, Intern/Mentorship, Fine Arts, Related Arts, JumpStart, Dual Enrollment, and how to select courses in synergy. ● From December 20th - January 18th - Students will need to enter electives for next school year. You must have 7 classes and 3 alternates listed. Access directions here, and there is a video demonstration here.
● If you need a list of elective courses you can view the Course Catalog or the course listings.
● Course Placement Review Form (Waiver Forms) should be submitted online this year through HCPSS Connect on the parent page. If you have any concerns with any of the course recommendations, you must complete this form. See instructions here and video demonstration here.
● Mrs. Bradley will briefly meet with all 8th grade students individually in ELA classes late Jan-early Feb to ensure all course
requests and alternates are listed in Synergy. If you have specific concerns or questions you can make an appointment or send an email with your question.
