The 2019 Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Career (PARCC) assessments will be administered from April 29 – May 24, 2019. Students will test in both English Language Arts (ELA) and math.
It is essential that all students come to school on-time on testing days, and we ask that you not schedule appointments or early dismissals on those days as well. Please note that students will have to take PARCC during a make-up session for any missed portions of the assessment, so your help with ensuring your child is in school on his/her scheduled testing days will help avoid this.
PARCC is longer than a typical classroom assessment. With that, we ask that you please ensure that your child receives a good breakfast on the days of the test as well as a good night’s sleep the night before each testing day. In addition, if your student wears eyeglasses or hearing aids, be sure that he/she comes to school with them during the days of testing.
