At Mayfield Woods, we work hard to ensure that students are learning in a positive environment conducive to success.
With that, we follow the Howard County Public School System countywide discipline code. For your convenience, the HCPSS Student Code of Conduct can be viewed in the Student/Parent Handbook (2018-2019) you received on the first day of school, or online at Student/Parent Handbook. We will also continue to implement our “BARK” positive behavior plan that promotes respectful behavior, teamwork, and leadership.
In addition to the information contained in the HCPSS Student Code of Conduct, there are certain policies that are important for you to review with your child in order to help us maintain a positive school environment. The administrative team reviewed these expectations with students in grade-level meetings on 9/12/18 and will do so again during the school year.
