The countdown is on – 7 more school days until summer break! 

As we begin to close out this year, please review the following end-of-year information:

• Click here for information about due dates for submitting textbooks and media center materials.  Please know that 6th, 7th, and 8th graders -  who have not returned their textbooks, media resources or have outstanding fines at the end of the school year- will receive their final report card after all obligations have been fulfilled and will receive memory books on the last day of school.
• Click here for information about picking up medication in the health room (due by June 19, 11 am)
• Report cards will be mailed home after June 19.
• Lockers will be cleaned out on June 13. Students will not be permitted to use their lockers after June 13. 
• The only materials students need on June 14, 15, 18 and 19 are a pen or a pencil, and a lunch if he/she brings one to school. Backpacks are not permitted.
• Once distributed, students may bring memory books to school, but sharpies are not permitted. Please be sure your child brings a pen for autographs and farewell messages.  

 

Thinking of next year?    The 2018-2019 school supply list is posted on our website here.  Don’t worry - it will be there all summer if you’re not quite ready to think about next year’s supplies. J 

 

Calling all volunteers!  Carnival at the Woods is a little less than a week away and we still need a few volunteers.  If you’re able to help for an hour or two during the afternoon of June 14, click here to sign up! Thank you and thanks to the families who have already donated and/or signed up to volunteer!

 

It’s back!  We’re getting ready to kick-off our 3rd annual, “Where in the World is Mayfield Woods Middle School?” summer photo contest!  This contest is open to next year’s students, including our new rising 6th graders (Sorry 8th graders - we’ll miss you!). From the Health Room

 

Medication remaining at the end of the school year should be picked up by the parent/guardian by the end of staff hours on the last day of school, June 19th. Any medication not picked up will be destroyed.  Thank you for your cooperation.

 

 

Attention 6th grade families! 

Do you know that your child must have certain immunizations before the first day of school, of the 2018-19 school year?  Click here for more information. 

 

 

A Message from the Cafeteria

PLEASE NOTE:  Please check your child’s lunch account and make sure there is an adequate balance to cover lunch purchases.  Account balances can be viewed at:  www.schoolbucks.com.  Accounts will no longer be allowed to go into negative status. 

 

 

Please be aware that the cafeteria is not able to break large bills and provide change for field trips, dances, or other events.  However, large bills are accepted for lunch accounts.
