The MWMS Drama Department wants you to audition for…"Heaven Help the Po' Taters"!

This play is a western melodrama (comedy) with lots of fun action and hilarity. There’s trouble in Tatertown!  The Idaho community is desperate for rain lest their potato crops dry up in the fields.  Especially hard hit are Irish Tater, his wife Etta Tater, and the Tater tots:  Sweetpea, Lyonnaise, and Chip.  Unless a solution is found, they will be forced to move, along with the other farmers in Taterfield County.  Their plight is the result of a dastardly scheme hatched by Noah Count, the scoundrel lawyer who deliberately left the water rights out of their deeds.  Will the town be smashed (or mashed)? There are 25 roles for just the right kind of tots!  We also need a stage crew.  Interested?  Keep reading!

IN ORDER TO AUDITION OR APPLY FOR STAGE CREW, YOU WILL NEED TO COMPLETE & SUBMIT A PERMISSION SLIP.

REHEARSALS ARE TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS AFTER SCHOOL UNTIL 5:00 p.m. STARTING FEB. 16.
