G/T Nomination – Sixth and Seventh Grade Students for Middle School G/T Content Classes for Next Year

The Howard County Public School System is currently in the process of accepting nominations for sixth and seventh grade students for possible participation in middle school G/T content classes (English, mathematics, science, and social studies).  The nomination period is open until December 11, 2015.

Students currently participating successfully in a G/T content class in middle school are eligible to continue in that discipline next year without the need for any additional paperwork or testing. 

If you have a child, in sixth or seventh grade, whom you wish to nominate for G/T testing, please submit a signed Nomination Form to the G/T Resource Teacher by December 11, 2015.  The Nomination Form may be obtained from Student Services or from Ms. Singleton, G/T Resource Teacher.

If your child has already been tested for the G/T Program, parents may submit a request for a Placement Review for a particular content area class rather than having the student retest.
