5:00 PM - 6:00 PM - Information Session with Ms. Barney (Hispanic/Latino Community
Liaison). Meet with Hispanic Liaison Ms. Barney for school information provided in
Spanish in room 119.
5:30 PM- Advanced Academic Programs (also known as G/T) Information Session - This
session will take place in the cafeteria and is ONLY for families who are new to middle
school or want more information about the GT program.
5:30 PM- "National History Day" Information Session - this session will take place in the
media center/library and is ONLY for families of 8th grade students who are enrolled in GT
Social Studies. .
● We are asking parents to come with their child’s schedule. You can take a picture of
your student’s schedule or you can log into Synergy and access your students
schedule by clicking on the “Class Schedule” tab. Your child will also be writing
their schedule in class and it can be obtained by you when attending his/hers 1st
period class.
● We will have staff available to help direct you to your student’s first period class
and/or assist in any way.
5:50-6:00 PM - Check in at our welcome table then report to your child’s 1st period.
6:00-6:22 PM - Welcome! Information shared by MWMS Administrators.
6:22-7:30 PM - Begin rotating to your child’s classes. Bells/announcements will
sound indicating when to leave to report to the next period classes (staff along with
our student leaders will be positioned throughout our building to assist with locating
classrooms).
