Good morning, Mayfield Woods Families,
The new school year is quickly approaching, and there is already so much positive energy throughout our school! Our teachers are back and working hard to prepare engaging learning experiences and welcoming classrooms for our students. We are also grateful to our PTA for providing a wonderful breakfast to welcome our staff back.
A few important dates and reminders are coming up:
- 6th Grade & New Student Orientation: Thursday, August 20, from 1:00–2:00 p.m. We will begin in the cafeteria.
- New Arrival Procedure: Beginning this school year, our doors will open for students at 8:15 a.m. as opposed to 8:20 a.m. Students arriving by bus will come directly into the building when they are let off.
- Student Schedules: Schedules will be available for families to review in Synergy beginning August 19 at 8:00 a.m.
- First Day of School: Monday, August 24, for all students.
- Back-to-School Night: Wednesday, September 2, beginning at 6:00 p.m. We hope everyone can make it.
We are so excited to welcome our students back and begin another wonderful year of learning, growth, and connection. We hope everyone enjoys the remainder of summer and takes time to make some special memories. We are excited for the year ahead, and we hope you are, too.
